Italian with Michel Thomas CD set (7 cds)

I have taken Michel's Spanish oourse and it is the best approach yet from becoming a beginner to developing intermediate and beyond. He uses a thinking method where you are asked (with other amateur guest learners) to listen, turn off the recorder, and then repond aloud. His basis is structure, not vocab and memorizing(which simply are techniques that do not work!) . Once you understand the structure, it is easy to know and read/listen to the language and know about what is being said.  It is a very engaging approach. There are 8 CDs to this program but the last one , the 8th, is missing. However, with 7 you'll become amazingly tuned into the language.
