Two books by Allen Hornblum which tell the story of medical experimentation done on certain prisoners of Philadelphia's Holmesburg prison. Objectively written from the perspective of both the prisoner and medical community. The prisoners were not forced in some nazi-like mentality but the compensation they received was far short of the risks no non-prisoner would accept.

(1) Acres of Skin - hardback which has perfectly clean pages - near-new . The exterior spine has some minor water caused fading. DJ is very good.

(2) Sentenced to Science - hardback in spotless near-new condition.
